However, since the teams play more often, the animosity will grow and fans will be treated to more intriguing matchups over the course of a season. The league isn't exactly printing money so the travel savings could provide an added benefit.
I must mention off the bat that I am not a Sid the Kid enthusiast. Do not get me wrong. He is a tremendous player. I just am not a fan of his on ice whining.
